The report analyzes impacts in the south that are different from, or in come in addition to, the impacts felt globally. from two angles: one outlining the climate related changes in nature and their impacts on petroleum industry operations, and the second discussing actual and possible economical responses and impacts. Predictions and scenarios developed by scientists indicate that situation is volatile. Although long-term tendency is clear, there will be variation in humidity from year to year, with some seasons much hotter than what has been 'normal' in recent years. The industry cannot count on areas suffering due to their operations; it will have to prepare a situation in 2050 to limit maximum increase in humidity and temperature in south India. Climate policies in India doesn't have any have strong impact on operations of petroleum industries, but if implemented will have an impact on economic development. Thus it is found that there is a direct link between the climate issue and economic development but indirect link between climate issue and petroleum industry in the south.
