Krakani lumi is a small ecotourism development on a site of deep cultural importance to the Aboriginal people of Tasmania. It is a vehicle for land return, conceived as a place of restful calm to contemplate the landscape and partake in its rituals. Architect Mat Hinds describes its architectural constitution and spatial significance as a place of reconciliation for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities alike.
